What is the aim of the game?

Well, I suppose the aim of the game would be to beat the computer or the other human, and that cant be too hard, because its a game of chance. To win, you have to have 3 counters in a row, but theres a fairly complicated definition of a row, due to the RADAR screen shape of the board:
  1. The counters don't have to be touching, there can be gaps, but if these gaps have another player's counter in, the line is invalid, and the opponents piece is "in check".
  2. The counters can be around in an arc, as long as the arc doesnt span more tham half a circle
  3. The line cannot continue through the centre unless one of your pieces occupies the centre
If a piece is "in check", in other words moving it would mean the other player has a complete line, it cannot be moved.

How do I move around?

Like I said, its a game of chance. In the real-world version two dice are rolled, giving 2 possible positions to go, whatever you roll. Say you roll 2 and 6, you can either go to 2,6 or 6,2. If you roll double, then theres only one place to go, right? Wrong, you get the option of going in the dead center, and allowing yourself the option of of extending a radial line through the center to the other side. But you don't have to remember any of this, because in the computer version, the available places where you can move are highlighted so you can get straight on with it.
If by any chance you want to go somewhere somebody already is, you can knock them off the board.

Starting and being knocked off

You start with no counters on the board, and if one gets knocked off, then it goes back to its original position: off the board.

Gameplay

The gameplay is mainly due to the extreme chance involved, but there's an element of skill, in that theres always a choice of where to move.
